TEAM LEAD ? UCLA Dorm Cleanup Project $32.50/HR | Short-Term Project (3?4 Days) Location: University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) 405 Hilgard Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90095 Project Dates: ? Saturday, June 13, 2026 ? Monday, June 15, 2026 ? Tuesday, June 16, 2026 ? Possible additional day: Wednesday, June 17, 2026 Shift Information: ? Full 8-hour shifts (30-minute lunch) ? Start time: 7:00 AM or 8:30 AM (final schedule TBD) Position Available: ? Team Lead (Previous leadership experience required) Job Overview We are seeking strong and dependable Team Leads to oversee cleanup crews during a UCLA dorm cleanup project. Each Team Lead will supervise approximately 14 employees and ensure the crew remains productive, organized, and on schedule throughout the shift. This is a fast-paced leadership role best suited for individuals who are confident, proactive, organized, and able to take charge independently. Responsibilities ? Supervise and direct a crew of approximately 14 employees ? Monitor employee attendance and productivity ? Assist employees with clocking in and out ? Maintain communication with management throughout the shift ? Motivate crew members and ensure tasks are completed efficiently ? Solve problems quickly and professionally ? Ensure employees remain on task and follow instructions Important: This role requires a strong leadership presence, clear communication skills, and the ability to project your voice in a large work environment. Candidates who are extremely soft-spoken may not be the best fit for this assignment. Requirements ? Previous leadership or supervisory experience required ? Must speak English fluently ? Must pass a background check and E-Verify ? Able to stand and walk for extended periods ? Comfortable using stairs throughout the shift ? Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment ? Must complete a phone screening interview Candidates not selected for the Team Lead role may still be considered for general cleaner positions. Dress Code ?
