Weekly Pay! $20.00/Hour Shift Details Start Time : 08:30AM End Time : 05:00PM Working days : Monday - Friday JOB DESCRIPTION: The Showroom Coordinator serves as the front line of the business in a high end decorative showroom. This individual is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional first impression while managing customer flow, phones, appointment scheduling, and administrative coordination. The role requires a polished, confident customer service professional who can remain calm under pressure and effectively manage both scheduled appointments and walk in traffic. This is a temporary assignment (approximately 7 weeks) supporting a leave of absence, with overlap for training and potential for extension based on business needs. Key Responsibilities: Enthusiastically greet all customers entering the showroom, including homeowners, builders, contractors, and interior designers Serve as the first point of contact for a high end, appointment based showroom Clearly and professionally communicate the showroom?s appointment policy to walk in and scheduled customers Manage customer sign ins, central appointment calendar, and customer job folders Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate appointments for the sales team Answer and transfer incoming calls in a pleasant, professional manner using a multi line phone system Direct calls to the appropriate associate or department; take detailed messages or transfer to voicemail when needed Assist with customer questions and provide general showroom information (no product selection responsibilities) Maintain appropriate phone and front desk coverage when stepping away from the desk Accept and route incoming deliveries Perform accurate data entry and basic administrative support as needed Navigate multiple systems and screens simultaneously while on calls Perform additional duties as requested by management Customer Service Expectations: Maintain a polished, poised, and professional demeanor at all times Demonstrate the ability to handle difficult or frustrated customers calmly and professionally Effectively set boundaries by saying ?no? in a customer friendly manner when appointments are not available Exhibit strong problem solving skills, maturity, and emotional intelligence Work collaboratively with sales associates and leadership to manage showroom flow Qualifications and Experience: Education: High school diploma required Bachelor?s degree not required Experience: 3?5 years of customer facing customer service experience (in person or front desk experience required; call center only experience is not sufficient) Prior administrative or reception experience in a fast paced environment strongly preferred Confidence answering phones and interacting with customers in person Computer and Technical Skills: Microsoft Outlook (1?2+ years) Microsoft Teams Strong written communication skills for professional email correspondence CRM experience (Salesforce preferred but not required; training available) Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems Core Skills: Strong verbal and written communication Professional phone etiquette and multi line phone experience Appointment scheduling and calendar management Strong organizational and clerical skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment Ability to interact professionally with management and sales teams Additional Information: This role does not include product selections or sales responsibilities Assignment may be extended based on leave duration and business needs Opportunity for future short term coverage may be considered for high performing candidates | |
