Tech I Product Development Engineering Location: Salt Lake City, UT Pay Rate: $21 to $24 per hour Interview Type: In person after phone screening is completed Drug Screening: Not required Benefits: 401k Health, Dental, Vision Insurance (after 90 days) Supplemental Health Insurance on day 1 Weekly Pay (Every Friday) Position Summary The Tech I Product Development Engineering role supports engineering teams by assisting with product development, testing, documentation, and data analysis. This position is ideal for candidates with hands on laboratory experience who are detail oriented and interested in working in a regulated, collaborative engineering environment. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following: Associates Degree in science, math, or engineering and progressing toward a 4 year degree OR Minimum of 4 years of related experience The incumbent must demonstrate the ability to perform the essential job functions outlined below. Must Have Hands on laboratory experience Strong attention to detail, especially when working with data sheets and technical documentation Nice to Have: Previous medical device industry experience Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Duties listed are representative but not all inclusive. Assist in developing formal test protocols and reports Execute test protocols and procedures with limited supervision Set up, operate, and maintain test equipment Accurately record measurements and maintain organized, reportable data Compile, analyze, and present test data Provide process and test method training to Manufacturing and Quality Control personnel Track and expedite Development Builds throughout documentation and manufacturing processes Develop and maintain working knowledge of company policies, ISO standards, and FDA regulations Work safely in a biohazard environment while complying with all safety policies and procedures Knowledge & Skills: Proficiency with Excel and Minitab Familiarity with standard laboratory practices Strong written and verbal communication skills Technical writing capability Basic organizational, math, and statistical skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions under supervision Detail oriented with strong data collection and reporting accuracy General aptitude with testing and manufacturing equipment Team???oriented and task focused Quality Focus: Assist with system assurance activities including documentation, testing, inspections, and investigations Support Manufacturing, New Product Development, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements Participate in product failure analysis and root cause investigations Research & Development Focus: Support concept generation, design, development, and evaluation of new products, materials, and technologies Physical Requirements: Office and laboratory environment Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching## BD04123JD | |
