Quality Assurance Technician (Food Manufacturing) A leading international manufacturer specializing in fresh prepared foods and private-label convenience products, including salads, pizzas, and desserts, is currently seeking 2 Quality Assurance Technicians to join their team. Schedule: (1st shift) -Start time at 6:00 AM (can vary by 1 hour) -8?10 hour shifts, 5 days per week -Must be flexible to work rotating weekends -Flexible to work overtime Pay Rate: $20.15?$22.15 per hour (DOE) Requirements: -Minimum of 6 months of QA experience in a food manufacturing environment required -Strong overall QA manufacturing background -Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred Key Responsibilities: -Conduct analytical testing of raw materials, work in progress (WIP), finished goods (FG), and equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards, GMP, HACCP, and specifications -Perform chemical, physical, microbiological, and sensory testing procedures -Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet quality standards -Monitor production processes, including Critical Control Points (CCP) and Control Points (CP), and document findings -Collect and organize retained, shelf-life, and microbiological samples -Review production documentation and report any deviations; place products on hold when necessary -Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, safety guidelines, and food safety programs Benefits: 401(k) plan Health insurance plan Electronic employee portal access Opportunity for direct hire with the company after 4 months Additional Requirements: -Resume required -Interview required Please submit your resume for consideration.
