Schedule: M-T 8pm-6:30am Location: on-site Pay: $19.00 hourly Benefits: Weekly pay, 401k, and Health benefit Overview Join a fast-paced, high-performing distribution team where accuracy, safety, and efficiency drive success. As a Material Handler II, you will play a critical role in ensuring products move seamlessly through the warehouse?from receiving and storage to order fulfillment and shipment. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in hands-on environments and take pride in precision and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Order Picking & Processing Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders using RF scanning technology. Scan barcodes, label shipments, and verify order accuracy prior to packaging. Maintain organized work areas in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to ensure compliance and traceability. Palletizing & Shipping Build and organize pallets by scanning, retrieving, and staging completed orders. Re-palletize products as needed to support efficient shipment. Operate shrink-wrapping equipment and assist with dock manifest activities. Ensure all shipments are verified, packaged, and prepared accurately. Inbound, Outbound & Inventory Movement Load and unload shipments using warehouse management systems (WMS). Handle products carefully to prevent damage and maintain quality standards. Support inventory movement and assist with parcel manifest operations and documentation. Complete all assigned tasks efficiently while meeting departmental performance standards. Equipment Operation Safely operate material handling equipment (MHE), including forklifts and pallet movers. Maintain equipment in clean, working condition and report any issues immediately. Keep required certifications current at all times. Safety, Quality & Compliance Follow all safety procedures to maintain a secure and hazard-free work environment. Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or suspicious activity promptly. Support organizational quality standards and continuous improvement efforts. Housekeeping & Team Support Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace at all times. Participate in cross-training and provide backup support across warehouse functions. Assist team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required Experience & Skills Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts) Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification Familiarity with RF scanners, WMS systems, or voice picking technology Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a metrics-driven environment Ability to read and interpret shipping and distribution documents Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Work Environment & Physical Requirements Fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to moving mechanical equipment Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive hand movements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required Occasional climbing, balancing, and reaching Why Join This Team This role offers the opportunity to build valuable warehouse and logistics experience while working in a structured, team-oriented environment.
