Day Shift: 5x8s, with flexibility to do 4x10s. Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Acute Care Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of clinical experience to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role will provide physical therapy services across both inpatient and outpatient settings, working with a diverse patient population that includes primarily medical cases with neurological and orthopedic diagnoses. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Provide hands-on therapy for patients with neurological and orthopedic conditions, as well as occasional wound care needs
Perform thorough patient assessments using clinical observations, physician input, and lab results
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
Accurately document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress using Epic EMR
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and recovery expectations
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards

Required Qualifications
Active state Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience, including outpatient physical therapy experience (required)
Experience treating patients with neurological and orthopedic diagnoses
Familiarity with or experience using Epic EMR

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in acute care or hospital-based settings
Exposure to or experience with wound care management
Strong interdisciplinary collaboration experience
