Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, primarily focused on diagnosing and repairing desktop PC hardware issues across multiple client locations. This role involves responding to break/fix service calls, troubleshooting system failures, replacing defective components, and ensuring devices are restored to full functionality in a timely manner.

The technician must be comfortable working independently in the field, managing a schedule of service requests, and maintaining accurate documentation of work performed. Strong customer service skills are essential, as the role requires direct interaction with end users to resolve technical issues and provide basic guidance when needed.

Reliable transportation is required, as travel between service locations is a core part of the position. Candidates must also be willing and able to complete all required product and vendor-specific training to stay current with hardware standards and support procedures.

Required Skills:

Advanced hands-on experience with Dell desktop PCs, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and hardware repair
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues such as motherboard, hard drive, memory, and power supply failures
A+ Certification (CompTIA) required, demonstrating foundational knowledge of IT hardware, troubleshooting, and support best practices
Strong understanding of PC components, operating systems, and peripheral devices
Ability to follow technical documentation, service manuals, and standard operating procedures
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong communication and customer service abilities
