Salary- $40.00/HR | Simi Valley, CA Position Summary- JobsRUs.com is seeking an experienced Sr. CMM Quality Programmer to support our client?s Quality Receiving Inspection, Calibration, and Engineering teams. This role is responsible for performing advanced inspection activities, developing CMM programs, and ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards. Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections on materials, processes, parts, and assemblies to ensure product quality Develop and maintain CMM inspection programs Collaborate with the calibration team to calibrate in-house tooling and fixtures Partner with Engineering on R&D and special inspection projects Utilize Net-Inspect to create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) Foster strong working relationships across inspection and other departments Maintain high attention to detail while meeting deadlines and production schedules Exercise independent judgment in quality-related decisions Ensure consistent attendance; flexibility for overtime or weekends as needed Perform additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in quality inspection/programming Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong experience with CMM programming and operation (MCOSMOS, PC-DMIS, CMM Manager) Proficient in layout inspection tools (shadowgraphs, height gauges, sine plates, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, etc.) Solid understanding of GD&T and shop math Familiarity with calibration systems and techniques Experience in aerospace manufacturing (required) In-depth knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 standards Strong quality inspection and analysis skills across standard and custom products Excellent communication and customer service skills Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization abilities Ability to troubleshoot and resolve routine quality issues Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite | |
