Position Summary-
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor II with a strong background in aerospace manufacturing and machine shop operations to lead daily production activities in a complex, high-performance environment.

This role is responsible for coordinating workflow, driving efficiency, and leading a team of skilled technicians while ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with supervisory experience, strong Lean manufacturing expertise, and a stable career history (no job hoppers).

You will play a key role in implementing the Parker Lean System and Win Strategy to promote a zero-accident culture, reduce defects, increase productivity, and deliver premier customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Lead by example and champion a zero-accident safety culture

Supervise and develop a high-performing team of technicians in a machine shop environment

Drive quality initiatives to reduce scrap, rework, and defects

Monitor production schedules and optimize workflow for maximum efficiency

Implement and support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align production with business goals

Lead Value Stream improvements and support Value Stream Tracking Center activities

Oversee new product transfers into production and drive design-for-manufacturability improvements

Develop and deploy standardized work instructions

Identify cost savings and process efficiencies

Maintain strong communication across shifts and departments

Exercise independent judgment in operational decision-making

Required Qualifications

Bachelor?s degree in a related discipline (required)

Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in aerospace manufacturing

Prior supervisory or people management experience

Must have machine shop experience

Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies

Experience working in ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Demonstrated ability to solve technical and operational problems independently

Strong communication and leadership skills

Stable work history (no frequent job changes)

Compensation & Benefits
