Human Resources Specialist | Kent, WA Position Summary- We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist with a strong background in recruiting, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Recruiting will be the primary focus of this role, along with providing broad generalist and administrative support to the HR department. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and HR administrative operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Recruiting (Primary Responsibility) Source candidates using LinkedIn, Indeed, and other job boards. Conduct resume searches and review candidates across varying skill levels. Schedule interviews, coordinate calendars, and create interview itineraries. Administer candidate testing as required. Conduct intake meetings for new job openings with hiring managers. Provide training to managers on reviewing resumes in PeopleSoft (if applicable). Research and recommend job assessments; update interview questions as needed. Support virtual recruiting initiatives and remote interview coordination. Onboarding Schedule new hire start dates and coordinate first-day logistics. Send communications to Team Leaders and follow up on pre-hire requirements. Coordinate and distribute new hire announcements. Prepare and maintain Day One packets and swag bags. Update evacuation procedures and urgent notification lists. Create badges and take employee photos. Distribute wellness waivers and compliance documents (Global Code of Conduct, Export Compliance testing). Update company phone directory. Send onboarding surveys and track responses. General HR Administrative Duties Maintain department filing systems and conduct I-9 audits. Assist with creating PowerPoint presentations and reports. Coordinate special onsite activities and HR events. Manage HR Leader?s calendar and scheduling. Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team. Required Qualifications Experience recruiting (manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred). Proven ability to source candidates using LinkedIn, Indeed, and other platforms. Experience with virtual recruiting and interview coordination. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint required). Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. High School diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with PeopleSoft or other applicant tracking systems. Experience supporting HR compliance and onboarding processes. | |
