We are currently hiring for a 1st shift mechanical assembler position in Baldwin Park $19.00 per hour. Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Overtime and weekends as needed. Job duties: Ability to complete tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Build and assemble different shade products in various sizes from beginning to end. Learning the components and basic mechanics of the products. Use chop saws, drill presses and assorted hand tools to cut and assemble shade products. Keep an organized and well stocked work area. Pull, stage and package orders for will call or shipping. Load or unload containers and verify contents with packing lists. Qualifications: Knowledge of basic measurements using a measuring tape. Good physical condition and can left up to 50lbs. Minimum 2 years of experience in production. Work with others in a team environment. Good communication skills, verbal and written.
