Position Summary-
We are seeking Assembly & Test Technician I to accurately and efficiently assemble and test products to meet customer quality standards and on-time delivery schedules. This role involves routine assignments requiring limited judgment under direct supervision. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn in a manufacturing environment.

This position actively supports lean manufacturing initiatives and maintains strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities

Perform basic assembly and test functions using hand tools, power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, fixtures, and inspection equipment.

Record test results using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.

Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, and test specifications.

Assemble and inspect products to ensure conformance to customer and industry standards.

Perform lockwiring, first-stage subassembly, and final detailing functions as assigned.

Conduct touch-up or full surface painting using materials such as paint, lacquer, or glaze; mix paint and clean parts as needed.

Participate in lean initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Maintain a safe, FOD-free work environment.

Ensure equipment calibration compliance according to schedule.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

0?1 year of general mechanical work experience.

Strong mechanical reasoning and ability to learn new processes and techniques.

Ability to select appropriate procedures, tools, and equipment for assigned tasks.

Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience using employee self-service systems and automated systems (e.g., PMR, TORS, email) preferred.

Commitment to safety, quality, and lean manufacturing principles.
