Manufacturing Systems Manager Wood Dale, IL Job Type: Full-Time Work Location: On-Site Pay: $75,000 ? $95,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications) Job Summary We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics, strong expertise in Excel, SAP, or similar systems, and solid experience in systems analysis. In addition, we prefer someone with a couple of years of management experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics. Our priority is to strengthen the analytical and systematic side of our operations, The ideal candidate has strong experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, process improvement, KPI analysis, and cross-functional leadership in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment. Responsibilities Manage daily warehouse production system operations Ensure data integrity and system accuracy across workflows Oversee and optimize receiving, sorting, RMA, and shipping processes Analyze KPIs including throughput, turnaround time (TAT), error rates, and labor productivity Identify and implement process improvements to reduce errors and increase efficiency Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with IT or external vendors Develop and maintain SOPs and operational documentation Lead automation and continuous improvement initiatives Support compliance, audits, and customer requirements Provide regular reporting and performance analysis to leadership Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations or production systems management Strong knowledge of WMS, ERP, or similar warehouse systems Advanced Excel skills required (Power BI experience preferred) Experience analyzing operational KPIs and production metrics Proven leadership and cross-functional coordination experience Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced warehouse environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in service-based warehouse operations Knowledge of RMA processes Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience Experience managing labor productivity and cost control Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid Time Off (PTO) | |
