Value Stream Planner | Permanent Placement Opportunity! Position Summary- The Value Stream Planner is an integral member of a Value Stream Manufacturing team, responsible for collaboratively planning and executing manufacturing programs. This role ensures the timely delivery of conforming products by assisting with order placement, monitoring production flow, and reinforcing work order scheduling policies. Key Responsibilities- Execute daily production control tasks, including ship reports and material releases. Analyze sales orders to ensure material availability aligns with scheduled orders. Support the value stream in executing manufacturing build plans. Troubleshoot production flow exceptions and develop effective solutions. Perform analysis to identify trends, drivers, and issues in production planning and initiate corrective measures. Organize and manage multiple, conflicting projects while maintaining accuracy and timeliness. Coordinate internal and external supplier replenishment and manage discrepant or stranded inventory. Monitor, report, and update MRB work center manufacturing work orders until resolution. Actively participate in Lean process improvement initiatives and projects. Collaborate with Production Supervisors and Value Stream Support team to resolve production downtime root causes. Execute program plans accurately, maintaining thorough records of transactions and communications. Communicate effectively across teams and interact successfully with cross-functional stakeholders. Work independently with initiative while supporting team objectives. Qualifications- Bachelor?s degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical field. 1?3 years of relevant experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Manufacturing experience preferred, ideally in high-volume, low-mix environments. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools; experience applying Lean in a Job Shop (QRM) or mid-volume repetitive operations (Value Stream) is a plus. Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions based on data and operational information. Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel. Minimal project management experience. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of operational or manufacturing environments and the Theory of Constraints is desirable. Why Join Us?
