Weekly Pay! $20.00/Hour Shift Details : 1st shift Day starts at : 05:00AM Day Ends at : 01:30PM Working days : Monday - Friday JOB DESCRIPTION: Under direct supervision, the Production Machine Operator I performs straightforward tasks and operates routine production equipment and machinery. Ensures the maintenance of a safe work environment with an ultimate goal of zero accidents. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals and maintain a safe and efficient production environment. Responsibilities: Performs straightforward set up, operation and routine maintenance of production machinery and test equipment Uses a range of documents to perform work, such as job travelers, blueprints, schematics, models or specifications Troubleshoots machines that are not at peak performance and finds solutions to problems Ensures adequate stock of raw materials needed for work and performs equipment maintenance per schedules Evaluates and verifies that production items are within tolerances and meet specifications as outlined in job documentation Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, to ensure the quality of products. Collaborate with production team members to achieve production targets and meet quality standards Other responsibilities as assigned Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary Qualifications: Experience operating machinery, preferably in a factory setting. Knowledge of tooling and the ability to work with a variety of materials. Experience with lathes, milling machines, and stamping presses. Proficiency in the use of hand tools and ability to perform maintenance tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control. Basic math proficiency Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints Excellent attention to detail Able to use existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks Effective oral and written communication Education & Experience: Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations. Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field Years of Experience (Required): 1 - 2 years | |
