Shift: Mon.-Fri. 9:00am-5:30pm
Pay Rate: DOE

Summary of responsibilities:
Under general supervision of designated supervisor, coordinate all warehouse operations, including such areas as receiving, warehousing, shipping, material distribution, pickup and delivery services, inventory and reports.
Acts as the point of contact for shipping/receiving employees;
Liaison for the company?s Custom Broker;
Provide pickup and deliveries services and act as liaison with Fed-Ex, UPS, common carriers and all departments with the organization;
Receive, inspect, and separate incoming freight, and retain stock for warehouse as needed;
Develop delivery routing schedules and monitor work standards to ensure prompt and efficient delivery and receiving of materials; perform delivery services as needed; coordinate delivery, receiving, and storage with company departments;
Maintain accurate receiving/delivery records and logs and prepare reports, including recording important stock transactions with all relevant data;
Organize and clean warehouse, loading dock and all forklifts;
Make recommendations for effective use of space and resources;
Operates all types of forklifts/warehouse equipment in a safe manner;
Assist with special events, moving, and recycling as required;
Completes weekly and monthly freight bill collection, validation, and approval;
Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments;
Verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records;
Examines incoming shipments, reject damaged items, examine returns to determine repair or destroy, and correspond with appropriate parties to rectify damages and/or shortages;
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies;
Trains newly hired personnel;
Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals;
Ensures all staff are following companies policies, procedures, and GMPs;
Informs Human Resources of concerns with staff;
Approves weekly time and attendance of staff in the shipping/receiving department with Human Resources;
Confers with COO to authorize overtime;
Plans and organizes operations to be executed by staff;
Attends daily operations meetings to establish priorities and to communicate with Billing Specialists, Packaging Coordinator, and Production Supervisor;
Ensures errors are minimal and completion of tasks is efficient;
Ensures proper use and maintenance of production equipment, tools, and accessories;
Performs and controls effectively all the day?s orders in a timely and organized fashion, while respecting quality and safety standards;
Performs general warehouse duties, as needed;
Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures;
Supports and helps implement continuous process improvements;
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; AND
5+ years related experience/training; OR
Equivalent of relevant education and experience; AND
Forklift experience; AND
Ability to make decisions, in a fast paced work environment; AND
Excellent oral and written communication skills; AND
Ability to function well under pressure; AND
Ability to read, analyze, interpret and fill out various forms and controlled documents; AND
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints knowledgably and respectfully; AND
Proficient with Microsoft office; AND
Prior supervisory experience a plus, but not a necessity.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand on a concrete floor for hours at a time; AND
Ability to sit for hours at a time; AND
Ability to lift 50 pounds from the ground to waistline; AND
Ability to perform the above listed job requirements with reasonable accommodation; AND
Ability to pass a contagious disease screening.
