JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Quality Assurance Technician for our client in Downey, CA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $30.00/Hour 01:00PM 09:30PM Monday-Friday. Flexibility is required. Must-Haves - Experience in a microbiology laboratory, production, manufacturing setting (prefer food and beverage) - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills JOB DESCRIPTION: The QA Lab is located inside the manufacturing facility. This person will be required to follow company GMP and safety practices. Responsibilities: ? Maintain, clean, and sanitize microbiology laboratory and equipment. Prepare micros samples and other microbiological materials. Maintain samples and record microbiological analysis results. ? Perform microbiological analysis on the following: package product, water samples, packaging process areas, sugar tanks. ? Report non-conformances to the appropriate department personnel and investigate as needed. ? Be available to the QA Manager for other projects including but not limited to laboratory assistance, auditing and QA data analysis as needed. Qualifications: ? B.S. degree from an accredited college in microbiology, chemistry, related science discipline or equivalent industry experience/education. ? Minimum of 2 years of practical, hands-on beverage manufacturing, production, or laboratory work is preferred. ? Experience in a quality department in food manufacturing or processing environment is preferred. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). ? Effective analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. | |
