JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire an EVS Technician for our client in Highlands, NC! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! 3 Month Contract Pay Rate - $16/hr 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2pm-10:30pm Job Description Responsible for cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas of the facility in accordance with departmental and hospital policy. Will also perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Major Responsibilities: Quality ? Adhere to safety and sanitation policies. ? Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of RMW, Hazmat, solid waste and linen. ? Maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all time ? Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions. Service ? Focus on patient experience and follow all patient experience standards ? Collaborate with leadership with recommendations for patient experience improvement. ? Manage service recovery as needed. People ? Foster a culture of commitment to the vision, mission, and values of the organization. ? Participate in team and individual employee training. Growth ? Participate in training with senior housekeepers to further develop/advance within the industry. Finance ? Correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to eliminate waste. ? Follow all time keeping standards: time clock procedures, meal breaks, timely clocking Other ? Performs other duties as assigned. ? Practices and adheres to the ?Code of Conduct? and ?Mission and Value Statement.? Education & Experience: ? High School Graduate or Equivalent. Preferred ? 1 + years of experience in healthcare Preferred ? 1 + years of experience in housekeeping or service related field Preferred Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors: ?
