Shifts Available: 1st Shift: Monday?Friday, 5:30 AM ? 3:30 PM; Saturday, 5:30 AM ? 1:00 PM 2nd Shift: Monday?Friday, 5:30 PM ? 3:30 AM; Saturday, 3:30 PM ? 11:00 PM Pay: $18.00 ? 22.00 per hour (based on experience) Position Summary Cor-tech / Jobs RUs.com is hiring experienced Overhead Crane Operators to safely and efficiently operate overhead cranes in a steel manufacturing and warehouse environment. The operator will be responsible for moving heavy steel coils or steel sheets while maintaining the highest safety standards. Key Responsibilities Operate overhead crane using the remote control. Load and unload steel products from trucks and production equipment. Conduct daily inspections of cranes. Ensure loads do not exceed crane capacity. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Report any mechanical or safety issues to maintenance staff. Attend all required safety meetings and training sessions. Qualifications Previous experience as an coil operator or overhead crane operator required (steel or fabrication environment preferred). Ability to follow safety procedures and communicate effectively. Strong attention to detail and adherence to OSHA and company safety standards. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Physical Demands & Work Environment Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Work performed in a loud, industrial environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and varying temperatures. Required to wear PPE at all times.
