Pay Rate - $61/hr 1st Shift: 9am-5pm, 36 hours per week Job Description We are seeking a Part-Time Acute Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting on a travel assignment basis. The ideal candidate is adaptable, skilled in inpatient rehabilitation, and committed to delivering evidence-based therapy to help patients achieve optimal functional outcomes. Responsibilities: Evaluate, plan, and provide physical therapy treatment to acute care patients, including post-surgical, orthopedic, neurological, and medically complex cases. Develop individualized care plans and adjust treatment based on patient progress and clinical judgment. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient care. Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards. Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and discharge planning. Maintain compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulations, including documentation and safety protocols. Qualifications: Current State Physical Therapy License. Minimum of 1?2 years of acute care experience preferred. Strong clinical knowledge in orthopedics, neurology, and post-operative care. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments and workflows. Travel flexibility and willingness to work varying schedules, including part-time shifts. | |
