$18.00/Hour This job assignment is on call, as needed, could be days or nights. 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. OR 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Flexible depending business needs. Hiring manager will provide 24 hours notice to the candidates. Must be able to speak, read and write English High School diploma or equivalent Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly. REQUIRED Position Summary: This position is responsible for general warehouse and sterilization functions. Duties/Responsibilities: Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manually load and unload products. Prepare product for manual and/or automated processing. Work with minimal supervision and perform duties in a prompt and professional manner, assuring on-time deliveries of all materials. Works with management to identify and eliminate safety hazards. Communicate and maintain a favorable relationship with fellow workers in own and other departments. Work with limited supervision and perform duties in a prompt and professional manner, assuring accuracy of all materials moved. Follow precise written procedures. Performs other duties as assigned by Team Leader and required to support the needs of the business. General housekeeping and clean-up of work area / safety awareness. Obey all company policies, standards and rules, including but not limited to: Safety policies and rules (including lockout procedures); Quality policies and rules. Must inform Leader about absences. Education: High School diploma or equivalent, required Experience: Manufacturing experience preferred but not required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be able to speak, read and write English. Good interpersonal skills Physical Demands: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly. Work Environment: High speed manufacturing environment. ???Must remain alert and focused. No air-conditioning in parts of sterilization/warehouse area. Degree of exposure to dust, dirt, heat, fumes, noise, vibration and chemicals. Safety glasses, safety toe shoes and high visibility vest must be worn when in the warehouse. Some physical exertion, including lifting, may be required. Conditions of employment in this facility include, but are not limited to: Associates Must: Must obey all safety rules. Must follow all QSR (GMP) regulations. Must cooperate fully with the safety and environmental program. May not pose a direct threat or significant risk to himself/herself or others.
