Job Title: Pipeline Flow Analysis Engineer ? Steam Systems Overview: We are seeking a skilled engineer to oversee pipeline flow analysis within steam systems. The role requires strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, steam flow, and the ability to apply advanced modeling tools to ensure safe and efficient system performance. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with Con Edison safety standards. Perform dual-phase steam/condensate flow analysis using proprietary flow analysis software. Apply expertise in fluid dynamics and steam flow to troubleshoot and optimize system performance. Utilize engineering tools such as Komgsberg, ANSYS, CAEPIPE, and STONER (preferred). Prepare and deliver weekly status reports on work activities to management. Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred). Strong background in fluid dynamics and thermodynamics. Experience with pipeline flow modeling and analysis. Proficiency with engineering software tools; familiarity with Komgsberg, ANSYS, CAEPIPE, and STONER is a plus. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. | |
