Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician Pay: $18.25 ? $19.00 per hour Location: Torrance, CA 90501 Schedule: 3:00PM - 11:30AM (Monday - Friday) Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Technician to ensure all products meet quality and safety standards. This role involves inspecting products, monitoring production, and documenting any issues to maintain consistent, high-quality output. Responsibilities: ? Collect hourly samples of pie fillings and finished pies. ? Test Brix, pH, temperature, viscosity, weight, and organoleptic properties of products. ? Monitor production paperwork for accuracy. ? Inspect production areas, equipment, and food containers for cleanliness. ? Perform periodic checks on x-ray machines and finished products. ? Monitor process controls (e.g., Egg Tank Temperature). ? Enforce GMP, SOP, and SSOP procedures throughout the facility. ? Inspect incoming ingredients for quality and safety. ? Document and report quality or safety incidents and coordinate corrective actions. Qualifications: ? High school diploma or equivalent. ? 1 year of QA or quality control experience in a food environment preferred. ? HACCP training/certification preferred. ? Ability to read and write in English; basic math and computer skills. ? Physically able to lift 10?20 lbs, stand or sit for long periods.
