Job Title: Production Supervisor Location: Torrance, CA 90501 Pay: $20.50 - $24.50 per hour Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our food manufacturing facility specifically a Bakery. This role is responsible for leading production employees, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and keeping production running smoothly. Schedule: 3:00PM - 11:30AM Monday - Friday (Saturday on occasion) Responsibilities: ? Supervise and train production employees; provide coaching as needed. ? Plan and assign work to meet production goals. ? Ensure product quality by enforcing GMP and safety standards. ? Monitor equipment, coordinate with maintenance, and reduce downtime. ? Communicate staffing needs with outside agencies. ? Participate in daily/weekly safety and production meetings. ? Review and complete production reports. ? Ensure proper start-up of equipment, including conveyors and printers. ? Oversee cooking, mixing, and baking procedures. ? Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Food Safety: ? Report and assist in eliminating any food safety issues. ? Monitor and enforce GMPs and food safety practices. Qualifications: ? High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred). ? 3?5 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing. ? Ability to understand and write reports in English and/or Spanish. ? Strong leadership and communication skills. ? Physically able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. frequently. ? Basic computer and office equipment skills. ? Flexible to work different shifts.
