Position: Direct Hire ? Weekend Assembly Technician Shift: Friday ? Sunday, 6:00 AM ? 6:30 PM Rate Range: $17.85 ? $20.50/hr + $6.00/hr shift differential Overview: We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician with strong mechanical assembly experience and soldering experience with wires (highly preferred). This is a direct hire position for candidates who demonstrate longevity and stability in their work history. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of manufacturing/assembly experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written work instructions Proficiency in basic shop math Computer literacy US Citizenship and ability to provide diploma or GED prior to interview Preferred: Post-secondary education in electronics technology Experience with soldering Key Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently assemble and test products to meet quality and delivery requirements Perform basic assembly/test functions using mechanical skills, hand/power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, and inspection measurement equipment Record test results using basic electrical equipment and flow meters Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, and quality directives Produce and inspect assemblies to conform with product specifications and standards Perform lock wiring, first stage subassembly, and final detailing functions Touch-up or fully paint parts as required; mix paint and clean parts Participate in lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs Maintain a safe and FOD-free work area Ensure equipment is calibrated per schedule Benefits: Annual cash incentive plan (bonus) Competitive medical, dental, and vision coverage from day one $50,000 life insurance from hire date Employee Assistance Program Free will preparation Flexible Spending Accounts (Health Care & Dependent Care) 401(k) with 5% company match Retirement income account and financial planning program 13 paid holidays, 10 vacation days, 5 sick days Tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance Alternate work schedule and voluntary overtime Anniversary recognition, employee events, and volunteer opportunities | |
