Job Title: Materials Handler (Temp-to-Hire)
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday ? Friday, 7:00 AM ? 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20/hour


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Materials Handler to join our team in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you?ll ensure the smooth, accurate, and timely movement of materials?from receiving and stocking to shipping?while maintaining compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with room for growth and career development in our FAA Repair Station ? MRO.

What You?ll Do:
Receive, stock, and disburse parts and materials.

Load/unload trucks, unpack shipments, and verify goods against purchase orders/invoices.

Maintain accurate records of received and shipped goods.

Conduct inventory activities including cycle counts and material audits.

Prepare and package materials for shipment, posting weights and shipping charges as needed.

Support manufacturing lines by distributing materials in a timely manner.

Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

Follow all established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We?re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of stockroom and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.

Computer proficiency and ability to follow written work instructions.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to select solutions from established options.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP experience.

Shipping/fulfillment background.

Cycle counting and inventory audit experience.

Skills & Attributes:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database tools.

Ability to work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Experience with powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment.
