Position: Quality Inspector
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM ? 3:30 PM (Mon-Fri)

Contract to Perm opportunity!

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector responsible for inspecting semi-complex parts using calibrated tools and instruments to ensure all products meet required specifications and quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

Inspection Duties:

Perform semi-complex inspections of components, assemblies, and shelf-life items using a variety of measuring and test equipment.

Identify defects, record findings, and maintain accurate inspection documentation and certifications.

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to determine acceptance or rejection of parts.

Conduct first article inspections, source inspections, and envelope inspections.

Layout and measure hole locations and centerlines on castings, forgings, and machine parts.

Investigate customer returns, assist with internal audits, and support government or customer inspectors as needed.

Calibration Duties:

Verify calibration of instruments and equipment.

Adapt and develop inspection setups for sample parts, forgings, and castings.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

3?5 years of related inspection or calibration experience, or equivalent demonstrated ability.

Must pass required vision exam.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Proficient in shop math, including fractions, decimals, rate, ratio, percent, and basic trigonometry.

Preferred experience with CMM operations and ANSI Y 14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing.

Knowledge of applicable military standards/specifications a plus.

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, customer specifications, and internal procedures.
