Journeyman / Master Electrician ? 2nd Shift ?? Union Facility ? Michigan ?? Pay Rate: $39.58/hour ? Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:20 p.m. ? 11:40 p.m. (20-minute unpaid lunch) ?? Training on 1st shift for up to 90 days We are seeking a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician (or UAW/IBEW Journeyman card holder) to join our 2nd shift maintenance team. In this role, you will perform electrical repairs and installations on building systems, power distribution, test cells, and machine tools. You?ll also support machinery troubleshooting, PLC programming, and continuous improvement initiatives in a union facility environment. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical repairs and installations across facility systems, power distribution, and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, one-line drawings, and electrical codes. Troubleshoot and repair machinery controls, including drives, PLC ladder logic, power supplies, and controllers. Handle high-voltage cable splicing, tapping, and insulating. Assist with machine installations, repair activities, and electrical project quotes. Maintain compliance with state/municipal codes and current electrical standards. Participate in continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications Licensed State of Michigan Journeyman or Master Electrician OR equivalent UAW/IBEW Journeyman Card. Strong knowledge of shop mathematics, electronics, and machine functions. Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems, machine controls, and PLC programming basics. Skilled at interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and updating electrical drawings. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. | |
