Aftermarket Pump Mechanic ? 2nd Shift ?? Union Facility ?? Pay Rate: $31.47/hour ? Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:20 p.m. ? 11:40 p.m. (20-minute unpaid lunch) ?? Training on 1st shift for up to 90 days We are seeking a skilled Aftermarket Pump Mechanic to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will disassemble, evaluate, repair, and test returned pump units to ensure compliance with OEM, military, and customer specifications. You?ll work independently with blueprints, technical orders, and test requirements while maintaining a high standard of quality, traceability, and safety. Key Responsibilities Disassemble, clean, evaluate, and reassemble returned or aftermarket pump units and subassemblies. Perform functional and compliance testing per Parker HSD, customer, and military specifications. Prepare and maintain accurate traveler documentation, records, and traceability paperwork. Troubleshoot, repair, and certify components using blueprints, schematics, and test specifications. Build and repair wiring harnesses with solderless and solder-type connections. Maintain work area, tools, gauges, and equipment in proper condition. Coordinate carry-over jobs with the next shift and support training of fellow employees. Participate in continuous improvement efforts and cross-train in multiple product families. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical and hydraulic schematics. Hands-on experience with wiring harnesses, soldering, and hydraulic/electrical testing. Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for aftermarket components. Willingness to work with red oil and Skydrol fluids. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Willing and able to become certified in multiple product families within 45 days of top wage progression. | |
