OEM Pump Mechanic ? 2nd Shift ?? Union Facility ?? Pay Rate: $29-41/hour ? Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:20 p.m. ? 11:40 p.m. (20-minute unpaid lunch) ?? Training on 1st shift for up to 90 days ?? Primary Function As an OEM Pump Mechanic, you will assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair production units associated with Traditional Pumps. You?ll work independently with blueprints, OEM assembly instructions, and test procedures to ensure quality and compliance. ??? Key Responsibilities Assemble, test, and repair pumps, including teardown of failed or returned units. Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with Supervisors, Quality, Engineering, and Customers. Interpret and work from complex blueprints and process documentation. Perform sub-assembly operations (cleaning, machining, soldering, helicoil insert, hydraulic/manual press work, etc.). Conduct hydraulic and electrical testing, including setup of test stands and equipment. Maintain tools, jigs, inspection devices, and perform light equipment repairs. Meet or exceed production and quality standards. Train fellow employees as needed. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. ? Requirements Ability to perform work with minimal supervision. Skilled in reading blueprints, using shop equipment, and performing machining tasks. Comfortable with personal computer use for documentation (Lotus Notes or similar systems). Willing and able to become certified/qualified in multiple product families within 45 days of reaching top wage progression. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. | |
