Pay Rate - $47.36/hr Job Description Provides strategic HR and talent support to designated leaders and employees at one or more facilities, creating the desired workplace culture and an engaged and productive workforce through policies, programs, and practices. This role serves as a senior member of the HR team and may be asked to take on more strategic activities with the senior team at the facility. Reporting to the Facility (or LOB Regional) VP of HR, and utilizing processes and tools from HR Centers of Excellence and HR Service Centers, this position will provide direct local support for: implementation of programs, employee relations and engagement, including culture and values initiatives. Major Responsibilities Strategic Partnering Responsibilities: Provides strategic HR and talent support to leaders and employees. Ensures employees and leaders have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet current and future business needs, aligned to customer expectations. Engages leaders to understand talent needs and implement talent assessment processes. Proactively obtains, interprets, and presents metrics and analyses. Collaborates with leaders to support culture/shared mindset activities. Implements workforce strategies and diagnoses and solves workforce issues. Culture Champion Responsibilities: Interprets and drives departmental employee engagement action planning to improve organization culture. Measures employee morale and satisfaction; implements efforts to improve the employee experience. Counsels on situational issues; leads initiatives to resolve conflicts. Advises on performance counseling and discipline. Promotes and fosters healthy work environment; ensures a culture of belonging and accountability. Coordinates and facilitates employee activity groups. Operational Responsibilities: Ensures that HR Department operations and programs are implemented efficiently and effectively. Partners with leaders to maximize effectiveness and efficiency through labor and efficiency initiatives. Supports the tracking and interpretation of metrics. Supports program implementation (i.e. HR Group, Employee, Culture, Performance, Quality, and Patient Care), measures outcomes, and raises program awareness. Deploys development programs, performance management/appraisal, and talent acquisition program tools. Facilitates employee onboarding and assists with orientation; supports other activities ensuring the hiring and onboarding of employees through the use of the HRG's tools and resources (i.e. daily life cycle, I-9, etc.). Partners to uphold all compliance standards and programs and performs activities as assigned (i.e. workers' comp intake processing, applicable employee leave of absence/return to work administration). Provides feedback on programs to ensure COE (continuous improvement activities). Supports as requested during emergency and disaster situations. Required Education and Experience Bachelors degree in a related field 5+ years of experience in relevant work. At least 2 years must be in a HR Generalist/HRBP role.
