JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire an Assembler for our client in Fort Madison, IA! Pay Rate - $19/hr 3rd Shift: 11:05pm-7:05am Job Description To perform all the necessary steps to assemble materials into lower molds with emphasis on Blade Packing. PRE-REQUISITE REQUIREMENTS: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent 2. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language fluently. 3. Ability to use hand & power tools and lifting equipment (gantry cranes). 4. Possess or have ability to acquire all PIME license by passing company test requirements. 5. Possess or have ability to acquire LOTO certification. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. The employee must certify on packing standards for blades. 2. Ability to read and understand metric measuring system WORKING PROCEDURES: The following are the major job duties, but this job description does not preclude the performance of other duties by the incumbent. 1. Receive and perform work assignments, oral and/or written and follow work instructions. 2. Assemble and document blade assembly. 3. Interpret drawings, sketches, etc. to obtain materials, tools, and dimensional information to perform essential functions of the job with minimal supervision. 4. Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of equipment to assemble, inspect, and evaluate parts per accepted Siemens or industry standards. 5. Insert the web and mandrels (dorns) as needed. 6. Perform visual inspections of specific equipment and tools required for each task or assignment. 7. Work with or under the direction of Mold Leads, managers, or engineers. 8. Verify dimensions of materials used in the packing process. 9. Follow all applicable specifications and procedures regarding the performance of shop operations. 10. Use all required safety equipment and follow established safety procedures. 11. Provide technical direction and training of other employees as needed. 12. Keep work areas in a clean and orderly condition. 13. Support and apply team concepts in daily activities. | |
