Weekly Pay! $24.25/Hour Shift Details : 1st Day starts at : 06:30AM Day Ends at : 03:00PM Working Days : Monday - Friday DESCRIPTION: Responsible for a variety storekeeping, distribution, and warehousing functions. Functions and Responsibilities: Activities may include receiving parts and material, inspection for and documentation of freight damage, stocking, inventory control, packaging for internal as well as external part movement, and housekeeping. Maintain logs, records and files, scheduling and prioritizing of receipts, document and batch control, and multi-departmental coordination. Create reports and perform data entry of inventory transactions Act as a contact point for routine receiving activities, department controls, and communications. Coordinate with the department manager for exception processing, or problem escalation and resolution. Demonstrate proper and safe operation of equipment. Responsible for ensuring proper documentation is entered on manufacturing planning and paperless timecard system. Works under direct oversight. Requires legible handwriting, organizational ability, attention to detail, and accuracy in the handling of parts and maintaining records. Requires strong communication skills, proven ability in recognizing variances, problem solving, and a track record of exercising good judgment in making decisions and handling exceptions. Strong math skills essential. May require the knowledge of precision measurement equipment and the purchase of personal supplies or tools (i.e., gloves, tape measure, and precision measuring tools). Must have the ability to physically perform shipping and receiving processes and move parts form work center to work center. Will operate forklift and other automated or manually operated equipment as necessary. Education: High School Diploma or GED Working Conditions: Demonstrate proper and safe operation of equipment, and personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses/full face shield, hearing protection, heat reflective body garments and gloves as required. Physical Requirements: Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body, such as climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, balancing and handling of material. |
