M-F 7Am-4PM with Overtime as needed Hours may change to: 6AM-4PM weekends may be required Location: Grayson GA $18.00 hourly Position Summary The Packaging Operator I is responsible for performing daily packaging operations in compliance with standard operating procedures and quality standards. The role requires the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently. Key Responsibilities ? Prepare and mix chemical formulations by measuring and combining materials accurately ? Package and label medical device kits according to quality and regulatory standards ? Perform visual inspection of components and finished products based on defined acceptance criteria ? Operate basic machinery and equipment ? Maintain a clean and organized packaging area and perform routine equipment cleaning ? Transport products and materials using carts and pallets ? Ensure documentation is completed accurately and timely, including inventory logs and device history records ? Perform basic mathematical calculations to assist with batch record completion ? Assist with inventory counts and tracking ? Participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions ? Comply with PPE and contamination control protocols (e.g., gowning procedures) ? Handle hazardous waste appropriately and in compliance with safety procedures Qualifications ? High School Diploma or GED ? Minimum of 6 months of relevant industry experience ? Experience with visual inspection and handling of small parts ? Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality ? Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records ? Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard business software ? Capable of working both independently and within a team ?
