Job Title: Test Technician Schedule: 1st shift M-F 5:00am ? 1:30pm Pay Rate: $24/hr Position Summary: The Product Test Technician is responsible for executing tests, troubleshooting, and verifying performance of electro and electromechanical equipment. This role requires precision, adherence to specifications, and a commitment to meeting deadlines without compromising quality. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate test equipment per specifications. Troubleshoot analog and digital circuitry malfunctions down to the component level. Document failures with detailed descriptions and root cause analysis for production and engineering teams. Interpret and follow both written and verbal instructions while complying with all company guidelines and procedures. Support other departments and production areas as needed. Maintain a safe, organized work environment and comply with safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional nights/weekends and variable schedules. Required Qualifications: Proficient with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.). Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail. High school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years of related work experience. Self-starter with technical/assembly background and strong communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: IPC-610 or J-STD solder certification. Aerospace or inertia reel experience. Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent technical education. | |
