The Human Resources Generalist supports leadership in the effective implementation of local, regional, and corporate HR programs, initiatives, and policies.
The goal is to ensure fair and consistent development and treatment of staff within the Operating Company (OpCo).

Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulatory agencies as well as employment laws.
Investigate concerns related to working conditions, disciplinary actions, and appeals from associates and applicants.
Advise department leaders and staff on resolving HR-related issues by offering guidance and recommendations.
Oversee the performance management process, assisting OpCo leadership with associate reviews, coaching, training, and consultation as needed.
Collaborate with OpCo leaders to develop and maintain workforce staffing plans.
Manage recruiting efforts to ensure the hiring of competent, diverse, and skilled associates, maintaining appropriate workloads and working to minimize turnover.
Develop and recommend goals and objectives for all aspects of employee relations.
Administer and enhance the management-labor relations component of the HR program to strengthen labor relations.
Design and/or oversee compensation policies, procedures, and programs.
Guide the strategy and administration of compensation planning.
Communicate compensation policies, procedures, and programs to associates.
Offer guidance and recommendations on HR practices and issue resolution.
Provide direction for all HR functions and policies.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor?s degree with a focus in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) is preferred.

Experience:
2-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with three years in a supervisory role preferred, or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience.

Professional Skills:
Solid knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
Experience in recruiting and staffing.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various HRIS platforms.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals at all organizational levels.
