Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler 3 to join our dynamic team in the medical devices industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the supply chain process, ensuring that materials are handled efficiently and safely within our facility. As a Material Handler 3, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement of materials, maintaining an organized inventory system, and supporting the production team with required materials. You will operate material handling equipment and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards inherent in the medical devices industry. With a focus on safety and quality, our ideal candidate will understand the importance of maintaining rigorous industry standards while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Work hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Compensation: $30/hr

Job Requirements
· High School diploma, GED or 3 years of relevant experience required.
· Experience with MHE. Including but not limited to Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counter Balance (slip and clamp), and Dock Stocker.
· Forklift Certification required.
· General distribution knowledge.
· The position will almost always have exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment.
· Previous stock room and shipping and receiving expereince.



General Summary

Material Handler III is responsible for ensuring safe, accurate loading and unloading of product within the distribution center. Uses ERP systems requiring location and storage of items, proper packaging, and methods of movement of materials. Will handle material either inbound or outbound based on business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
Pallet/Case Picking
· Processing customer orders including but not limited to: scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes.
· Pick, pack and process orders.
· Processing orders through RF technology.
· Complete all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles
· Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.

Pallet Build
· Palletizing to include scanning, retrieving and placing completed orders on pallets.
· Re-palletizing products for shipment.
· May be responsible for dock manifest duties which includes scanning completed pallets and running the shrink wrapper.
· Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.

Inbound/Outbound/Inventory Movement
· Uses ERP systems requiring location and storage of items, proper packaging, and methods of movement of materials. May prepare goods for final shipment.
· May prepare, coordinate, and execute documentation for final shipment for domestic and international.
· Will handle material either inbound or outbound based on business needs.
· Inbound/Outbound shipments are to be loaded/unloaded utilizing the WMS
· Locates and retrieves products as well as replenishes picking locations.
· May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
· May train and implement functions in SAP.
· Required to maintain current status in C2C training modules.
· Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.

Safety and Security
· Associates are responsible for performing their job activities in a safe and reasonable manner and in accordance with safety requirements.
· Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and conduct all activities in a manner that promotes a safe environment.
· All injuries, accidents, unsafe acts, hazards or conditions must be reported immediately.
· Report any suspicious persons or activity.


Hazmat Training
· This associate may be provided with Hazmat training to include general awareness, function specific, security awareness, security plan and safety training.

Cross-training
· Become knowledgeable with the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.
