JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire an IT Business Systems Analyst to work remotely for our client! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $30.00/Hour Shift: 8 AM to 6 PM EST Ideal candidate will have strong business systems analysis and communications skills with interest in taking on product ownership responsibilities on an agile scrum team. All core competencies are a must, especially ability to manage ambiguity and value differences. Interest in change management and data management principles as outlined in DAMA-DMBOK is a big plus. Serves as facilitator and a critical communication bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams within a fast-paced biotechnology environment. This position focuses on systems analysis, requirements gathering, and cross-functional collaboration to support data engineering initiatives. TOP (3) REQUIRED SKILLSETS: ? Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including ability to translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences. ? Excellent customer service and business relationship-building skills with internal team and with partner teams. ? Basic SQL NICE TO HAVE SKILLSETS: ? Basic knowledge of data engineering principles and technologies ? Product owner experience, including backlog management and roadmap development ? Change management experience ? Life sciences knowledge Key Responsibilities . Requirements Analysis & Documentation . Conducts detailed business requirements analysis and creates comprehensive technical documentation . Translates complex business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications for data engineering teams . Documents system workflows, data mappings, and integration requirements . Stakeholder Management & Communication . Acts as primary liaison between internal business partners and IT data engineering team . Facilitates requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels . Negotiates scope, timelines, and technical solutions with both business and technical teams . Communicates technical feasibility assessments and project updates to non-technical stakeholders in accessible language . Project Support & Coordination . Participates in data engineering and systems development projects as the business-technical interface . Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria . Coordinates with project teams to resolve conflicts, adjust requirements, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementations . Supports testing phases by validating that technical solutions meet documented business requirements . Communicates planned work to stakeholders and writes release notes for each iteration . Organizational Navigation . Works effectively across multiple reporting lines and organizational boundaries . Builds and maintains relationships with diverse stakeholders including business analysts, data scientists, software developers, and executive leadership . Adapts communication style and approach based on audience technical proficiency and organizational level. | |
