JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant for our client in Hermitage, TN! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! 6 Month Contract Pay Rate - $29.90/hr 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm and potential for the first weekend of the month Job Description The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing many of the day-to-day activities of the Accounting Department. This includes but is not limited to the following: Assisting with general ledger activities, Performing month-end closing activities; Preparing month-end account reconciliation?s; Assisting with all other daily activities of the Accounting Department and performing special projects as directed by the CFO, Controller, and Assistant Controller. The Senior Accountant must also work to fulfill the mission, vision and values of the hospital. Required Education and Experience Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related specialty. Must be knowledgeable in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, accruals/general ledger, and the use of personal computers. Preferred Experience Experience in healthcare finance and comfort with a fast pace during month-end close and meeting deadlines. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist(s). Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the Performance Management Plan. Health Requirements Hep B, MMR, Varicella Titers Vaccinations- obtain documentation for Tdap, Varicella, MMR, Hep B, Flu, Covid -19 Quantiferon Gold Test for TB screen Chest X-Ray and evaluation if positive TB Screen | |
