We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic team in the medical devices industry. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and handling of materials within our facility, which is dedicated to producing high-quality medical devices that improve patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to support the logistics of materials, including receiving, storing, and distributing them as needed for production processes. Weekly Pay(Every Friday) Description: Monday - Friday (9am to 5:30pm) Must have crown high reach and stock picker (cherry picker) experience Payrate: $17.50 Must be able to do conversion factors, multiplying, and division. HS diploma is preferred Material Handler II is responsible for the safe, accurate loading and unloading of product within the distribution center. The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent(s) in this position and are not all-inclusive. The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will not preclude it from the position. Duties and Responsibilities ? Unloads inbound trucks (inter-company deliveries, vendors, etc.) ? Loads outbound trucks (inter-company shipments, off-site warehouse, etc.) ? Locates and retrieves products as well as replenishes picking locations using FEFO methodology. ? Moves pallets on dock. ? May be required to physically stack/transport product from larger sterilization pallet to regular pallet before moving by forklift to dock. ? Ensures all assigned duties are safely completed in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and by following department procedures. ? Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in GMPs. ? Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP. ? Must take safety first and be able to work diligently to maintain safe working conditions and to adhere to proper operating practices and procedure designed to prevent injuries and illnesses. ? May be required to perform warehouse associate duties. ? May be required to train new hires on RF functions. ? Regular and reliable attendance at work. ? Safety shoes required for position. Pallet/Case Picking Processing customer orders including but not limited to: scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes. Pick, pack and process orders. Processing orders through RF technology. Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions. Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP. Complete all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging. Pallet Build Palletizing includes scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets. Re-palletizing products for shipment. May be responsible for dock manifest duties which include scanning completed pallets and running the shrink wrapper. May be required to transport pallets by MHE.
