Weekly Pay! 4 Month Contract Pay Rate - $46.50/hr Shift: 3 days x 12 hours, 7pm-7am Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of hands-on experience providing respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. You will be responsible for administering respiratory therapy treatments, conducting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to support patient care plans. Key Responsibilities: Administer therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care procedures as ordered by physicians Operate and manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment for both acute and chronic patients Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatments accordingly Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and interpret results Provide education to patients and families on respiratory care and equipment usage Document all assessments, treatments, and patient interactions accurately in the medical record Participate in emergency response codes and provide airway management Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment according to safety and infection control standards Requirements: Current certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) State licensure (if applicable ? insert specific state requirement) Minimum of 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience (hospital or clinical setting preferred) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ACLS preferred) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonatal or pediatric patients (if relevant to setting) ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications Familiarity with ventilator weaning protocols and pulmonary rehabilitation Must be familiar with procedures and equipment provided by this department. Must also be familiar with indications, contraindications, and hazards of various therapy. |
