Weekly Pay! $52.00/Hour Shift Details: 1st shift Day Starts at: 08:00AM Day End at : 04:30PM JOB DESCRIPTION: Required Skills: Current Registered Nurse License in NY State (BA, BS preferred) Proficiency in use of electronic medical records keeping systems Computer skills including Word and Excel Flex Skills: Knowledge of FMLA guidelines preferred Occupation Health experience preferred Soft Skills: Ability to effectively communicate both oral and written Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and complex employee concerns (with excellent communication, conflict management and analytical skills) Job Description: Candidates will join an integrated team of physicians and NPs, backed by support staff, who deliver customer-focused care to over 14,000 employees. The Employee Wellness Center (EWC) provides a combination of wellness evaluations, regulatory examinations, sick determinations, and safety-sensitive assessments. Responsibilities include: Manage Medical Leaves (STD, FMLA,) by processing claims and communicate case status to employees, supervisors or managers, HR and healthcare providers Facilitate and be a resource to employees in transitional periods including modified or restricted duty and return to full duty Document employee data in electronic medical database(s), as per standard protocols. Support Site Health promotion and disease prevention programs for employees For both new and experienced Nurse Case Managers on-the-job training is available | |
