JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Shop Janitor for our client in Avondale, AZ! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! Pay Rate - $20/hr 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm Job Description Performs routine building maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. Assists in a wide variety of maintenance activities; addresses immediate operational and/or safety concerns; and ensures that tools, materials and vehicles are maintained in good working order. Key Responsibilities ? Maintain cleanliness of the shop, including sweeping, mopping, and general upkeep ? Dispose of trash and recycling properly ? Operate a pressure washer for cleaning surfaces and equipment ? Perform basic janitorial duties to ensure a safe and organized workspace ? Maintains safe work habits and actions in all aspects of the daily task; evaluates reactive work for safety issues, plans projects so that safety is key, and reviews preventative work for any unforeseen items that may present safety hurdles. ? Utilizes software to track, assign, and prioritize reactive, planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance work and building management system. ? Orders supplies from various vendors and assists in managing spare parts inventories. Performs work in a wide variety of conditions, such as extreme heat, cold, and moisture. ? Maintains housekeeping and safety in work areas; Up keep on exterior yard, including pit and sump clean/repair. ? Conducts minor repairs including plumbing in restrooms along with dock drain; floor repair & spill pickup, including carpet and floor tile; Ceiling and light fixture installation; Wall repair including drywall installation, patching, wall hanging and painting. ? Operates and maintains vehicle equipment such as fork truck, golf carts, etc. Uses powered hand tools drills, grinders, porta-band, etc.) based on job need. | |
