JobsRUs.com is hiring a Lab Technician. ?**PAY RATE $26.50 hr.** Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Temporary Role! Entry level position?. ?Job Description: Provides general knowledge in the development/evaluation of product (cheese and dairy powders) and analytical testing while providing technical support to Project Leaders by performing routine functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ? Weigh ups ? Lab Restock and Inventory check ? Lab Cleaning ? Analytical submissions ? Coating on popcorn or other snack bases ? Dry Blending of powders ? Sample request fulfillment ? Team tasting sensory set up ? Freezer inventory/clean-out ? Sifting and logging product from Pilot Plant dryer ? Processing of and shipping out samples of powder ? Pilot Plant assistance during runs ? Skills needed ? organization, proactiveness, communication, collaboration ? Ability to lift, carry, and move 50 lb. bags of powder ? Ability to stand for extended periods of time Experience using Excel/Word/Outlook helpful Education: ?
