JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Transportation Coordinator for our client in Evansville, IN! Pay $30.00/Hour The Position This position handles shipping processes in an efficient manner to ensure that deliveries arrive on time, in full, and in good condition. This may include managing railcar and bulk truck deliveries to and from the Evansville plant, managing exports, stock transfers, and domestic shipments out of our third-party warehouses, and posting goods receipts of materials and supplies. Major Responsibilities Ensures orders are processed in a timely manner for shipping Prepares foreign documents for shipments outside the United States Coordinates with 3PL and transportation providers to ship products and materials. Schedules bulk shipments with carriers or 3PL provider. Posts transactions in SAP including receipts, deliveries, and returns Posts goods receipts of raw materials at external tolling partners and resale materials at external warehouses. Comply with all position requirements as defined in DSM's internal control, quality system and SHE requirements, policies and procedures. Assists Quality Department with sampling requests Ensures all postings are completed in a timely manner. Performs special projects and related duties as assigned. The ideal candidate has Associate level education, preferably in supply chain/logistics or comparable years of experience knowledge and hands-on experience in warehousing and/or logistics Good working knowledge of SAP along with skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) Good written and conversational English at good level to enable working in a global organization High level basic math ability Dedication to promote, and ensure the compliance of safety rules and regulations according to DSM requirements and standards | |
