DESCRIPTION:

The Temporary Worker is responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, including painting, cleaning, and pressure washing, to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of the facility.
The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Painting:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and priming as necessary.
Apply paint to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Follow safety protocols and proper techniques to ensure an even and durable finish.
Ensure all painted areas are clean, neat, and free of debris, spills, or imperfections.

2.Cleaning:
Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, common areas, and workspaces as needed.
Remove trash and recycling materials from work areas and dispose of them in designated locations.
Ensure that cleaning supplies and tools are stored safely and replenished as necessary.

3.Pressure Washing:
Operate pressure washing equipment to clean building exteriors, sidewalks, driveways, and other outdoor surfaces.
Ensure that surfaces are prepared properly before pressure washing to avoid damage.
Perform maintenance and safety checks on pressure washing equipment before use.
Use appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques to remove dirt, stains, mold, and grime.

4.General Maintenance Support:
Assist the maintenance team with minor repairs and tasks as needed.
Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
Work collaboratively with other team members to complete assigned tasks on time.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Experience:
Previous experience in painting, cleaning, or pressure washing is preferred.
Experience working in an industrial or commercial facility is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:
Ability to operate basic hand tools, cleaning equipment, and pressure washers.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
Basic understanding of safety procedures and the ability to follow safety guidelines.

The role may involve exposure to paint fumes, cleaning chemicals, dust, and noise.
Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and climbing ladders.
