JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a QC Chemist for our client in East Chicago, IN! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $26.00/Hour Shift: Mon-Fri 9-5 Accountable for ensuring effective product quality assurance and control PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES . Perform analyses required for product qualification with accuracy, precision, speed, and with minimal supervision. . Takes responsibility for ensuring all analytical equipment is properly calibrated within the complicacy window. . Ensure sample requests are properly packaged for shipment. . Perform monthly sample standardization. . Prepares work assignments to provide an orderly flow of data, keeping sample backlogs and turnaround times to a minimum. . Assist with resolving quality issues including instrument reliability, accuracy, precision, turnaround time, capability, and value. . Works with the Quality Lead to develop new or improved analytical methods. . Assists users of analytical data (Management, technicians and production) with the interpretation of the analytical results. . Generate Certificate of Analysis. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE . BS Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering . 0 - 2+ years of relevant lab experience . Industrial laboratory experience preferred. | |
