Weekly Pay! $31.25/Hour Shift Details: 1st shift DESCRIPTION: Summary: Facilitate effective communication between two parties that do not speak the same language by converting one spoken or written language to another. Translation services support but are not limited to Employment, Training and Orientation, Meetings, Human Resources, Health Services and other operational activities as assigned. This position is project-based and is held to a strict code of confidentiality. Working knowledge of interpreting or translating best practices preferred, including prioritizing confidentiality at all times Special Skills: Must be able to work independently, while simultaneously working as part of a team collaboratively and learning new skills Must be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills, prioritize deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment Must be proactive and willing to ask for help to understand projects fully and perform at one?s highest level Dependable internet connection required Basic Computer and Typing Skills Required Experience using Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms (e.g. Zoom, TEAMS, etc.) preferred Education: High school degree or equivalent is preferred Certification in interpreting or translation preferred Experience: One year of interpreter or translator experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered | |
