JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire an IT Systems Administrator for our client in Houston, TX! Benefits Available! Pay Rate - $41.50/hr 1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm Job Description Responsible for the administration of one or more of the following data systems: Computer systems hardware, software, information systems & peripheral equipment such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices. Maintains, installs, upgrades and configures data systems, administers operating systems, and maintains basic security and recovery procedures such as scheduling and backups. Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field. Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills. Windows experience is required. Candidates do not need to have experience with Linux, Unix, or Redhat. The primary focus of this role will be to provide Desktop support to our LOGCAP PMO team based in the Houston office. This environment predominantly utilizes Microsoft Windows, with approximately 99% of PCs (Dell Laptops) operating on Windows 11. The candidate will assist users with various issues related to Office 365, software applications, printing, and hardware. Occasionally, the candidate will collaborate with our corporate Desktop Support and Network teams to address more complex issues affecting our users. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. | |
