We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our products and equipment directly at customer sites. Your primary responsibility will involve troubleshooting, repairing, and performing regular maintenance on MedBank and Pyxis devices for 9-18 months. This is a heavy travel position, will be assigned to locations closest to worker location as much as possible You will be the frontline representative of our company, responding to service requests and ensuring that our clients receive timely and effective support.The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, have excellent time management skills, and be willing to travel as needed to serve customers across different locations. Compensation Up to $26.50/hr Medical, Dental, 401k, hospital indemnity Schedule -Monday to Fri - Mondays and Fridays including travel days . Technicians would also remediate devices on Monday/Friday if they have a short travel day - Schedule is between 8-10 hour days depending on location. Requirements Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in a technical or mechanical environment. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while on the road. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members. Comfort with travel, including overnight stays as needed for service calls. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Additional skills - Lifting requirements - Ability to lift 70-pound objects from the floor to chest level - Hand-powered tools - Ability to operate powered drills, powered screw drivers and other powered tools - Manual tool manipulation - Ability to turn manual sockets, crescent wrenches and screw drivers repeatedly over the course of an eight to 10-hour day - Ability to sit, kneel, squat, bend, and stand repeatedly in an eight to 10-hour period to assemble and repair instrument suites - Ability to push and pull heavy objects (on casters) - Ability to perform fine motor tasks while reaching over the course of an eight to 10-hour day - Ability to carry a 40-pound pack on your back or shoulder for up to one hour - Ability to drive distances of up to six hours in adverse weather conditions - May be required to wear a respirator while servicing equipment, thus must be able to pass a fit test and medical evaluation - Ability to travel regionally and nationally BD04123JD | |
